Their values reflect the traditional culture of their diverse heritage which is honored by fostering the physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual elements of human life.
Their new project, Sohkeya Phase 2, located in Surrey, provides safe, healthy, and affordable housing that reflects traditional Indigenous culture. The building façade, designed by NSDA Architects, consists of MEG by ABET LAMINATI featuring a modern ‘frieze’ under the north facing roof soffits. The custom digital panels are printed with the artwork of Rain Pierre (sɬə́məxʷ), a member of the Katzie First Nation.
