Breaking Ground in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin

Abet Laminati has broken ground on a new production facility in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin — the company’s first factory outside of Europe in its 70-year history of design and manufacturing.

The 230,000-square-foot facility represents a significant investment in Abet Laminati’s long-term presence in North America. Beginning in 2027, it will bring additional domestic production to the company’s North American offering, expanding on the made-in-USA foundation already established through the Stratificato QSP and MEG QSP product lines. The facility is being delivered in partnership with design-build firm MSI General.

Abet Laminati CEO Giancesare Drocco and Sean Gregory, President of Abet Laminati North America, were on site to mark the occasion.

Once operational, the Johnson Creek facility will expand Abet Laminati’s domestic production capabilities, reinforcing the design consistency across HPL, Stratificato, MEG, and specialty product lines that allows architects and interior designers to specify a unified decorative language throughout a single project — from millwork and wall protection to exterior cladding.
