Stratificato HPL

Stratificato HPL is a decorative compact grade laminate that is impact resistant and aesthetically pleasing.

A self-suporting, composite panel manufactured as a single compact core.

Stratificato HPL features an excellent combination of mechanical features including dimensional stability, superior flatness as well as resistance to impact.

It is also easy to  machine, install and maintain. Highly resistant to abrasion, wear, steam and humidity Stratificato HPL can be manufactured in full-color offering a uniform aesthetic.

Stratificato HPL is the ideal material for wall protection, toilet partitions, work surfaces and locker systems.

It can be used to replace traditional wall coverings to create a wall protection system that is durable and low maintenance. Thanks to its dependable performance, it is also an ideal material for use in public restrooms, for countertops and for changing areas.

It is equally suitable in institutional facilities, hospitality settings, laboratories and transportation facilities.

 

Phenolic panels are manufactured  by combining several layers of phenolic impregnated kraft  and a decorative surface paper impregnated with melamine resin.

Each stack of paper is  loaded into a press where it is baked (at the temperature of 150 °C) and compressed (up to 9 MPa). The polycondensation reaction forms chemical cross-links that bond the phenolic and melamine resins together.

Resistant to water and steam, Stratificato HPL is perfect for wet areas.

 

Natural variations in temperature and humdity have no adverse effect on the properties of Stratificato HPL.
