Laminates: Solid Colors – Sei Finish
50 Broad Street, in New York’s historic Financial District was completed in 1915.
Just one block away from the New York Stock Exchange, this iconic building features a twin tower facade and frieze depicting bulls and bears. Johan Stylander of Stylander Design Group was chosen to reinvent the building by creating pre-built creative space office suites.
Stylander’s creative use of color to construct vibrant corridors is a key design feature of the space. He explained, “Color is an excellent tool for creating effective wayfinding systems. Color creates a lasting visual memory, and the introduction of ABET-clad wall panels in the elevator corridors at 50 Broad Street served the additional purpose of hiding some utility closet doors that happened to be in full view of the elevators. ABET’s solid color laminate palette is second to none, and the product was ideally suited for this building-wide improvement project.”
We couldn’t agree more and we are delighted to be a part of this project!
